Surf School/Learn To Surf Google Listing For Sale
Hello Surf Coach,
As no doubt you are aware, the learn to surf industry on the Gold Coast is highly competitive. There are dozens and dozens of surf schools all competing for the same students. It must be hard to find new ways to capture new clients before your competitors do.
As we all know, traditional forms of advertising are becoming less and less effective. Yellow pages and local papers still want you to spend a fortune with them, even though less and less people are using them as a way to find their instructors. Now when people are looking for services like “Surf Coaching” or “Surf School”, they go to Google. Its as simple as that. The vast majority of people who want to book a surf lesson with you will go to Google and search for you there.
I put this website together just to test how sophisticated and competitive online marketing is in the learn to surf industry. I found it only took a couple of weeks to get this site to page 1 of Google for all manner of search phrases. That’s this website. Its on page 1 for most of the search phrases I targeted and I only did a couple of week’s work to get it there. Try these searches for example and see where it comes up.
- gold coast learn to surf
- gold coast surf coach
- gold coast surf instructor
- gold coast beginner surfing
- gold coast surf fitness
- gold coast surf school
- gold coast surf lessons
That is a wide range of Gold Coast specific search phrases that this website is performing well in. I think I may have slipped to page 2 on some of them – thats ok, I don’t have a surf school so I don’t want these clients anyway. Currently I am just distributing a pdf brochure about the Gold Coast with this site.
You see, I am a Google expert, not a surf coach. What I really want is for you or some other Gold Coast surf coach to grab this site off me. Once you decide you want it, then I want to:
- Brand it for your business
- Optimise the hell out of it to get you to the top of Google
- Set up and optimise a Google Maps profile and get that to the top also
So as far as Google is concerned, you’d be the best placed surf school on the coast – winning the vast majority of clients coming from the internet.
If this is something you are interested in, please call Damian on 0432 742 560. Your business could be winning clients from these existing Google placements literally tomorrow. I just need to put your phone number on the home page.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Learn to Surf in the Surfing Mecca of Gold Coast City
You are the typical Australian or the sporty type who loves the outdoors and who regularly goes to the gym. But there is one sport that you have you been so fascinated about, but never got around to trying because perhaps your circle of friends are not too keen on learning it, and this is the ultimate water sport of surfing. Well get yourself moving now and realize that passion while you are young and carefree, and learn to surf in the world renowned surfing city of Gold Coast.
Surfing is not all about the adrenaline rush, but it is also a form of art where you learn to be light and nimble like a dancer, and you master the arch and sway of your body to keep balance with the force of wind and water. That is what the Gold Coast surfing schools will teach you: the timing, the techniques, and most importantly the safety measures that you will need to remember even when you become an accomplished surfer.
Although surfing did not originate in Australia, its beginnings are not very clear as well except that this art form and water sport has been a way of life and part of the culture of the Ancient Polynesians for the past thousands of years. It was mostly in Hawaii where the first recordings about surfing were written by the Europeans, and it was also the famous Hawaiian Olympic swimmer and skilled surfer, Duke Kahanamoku who revived the water sport and introduced it internationally especially in Australia. Now, the Aussies have become dominant figures in the world of surfing and the home of the Association of Surfing Professionals is in Coolangatta, Gold Coast City.

Surfing on the Gold Coast: Things to Know
Those who are new to the surfing arena should know a thing or two about the Gold Coast surf lessons. The first element you should be acquainted with is whether you have all your surfing equipment in place. Make sure you don’t hurt yourself or others or annoy them at the beach. Pre warm up or stretching should be done prior to surfing on the sea. This is an important part of your Gold Coast surf coaching. If you want to be on the water always, remember to qualify physically for the purpose.
Don’t sustain any kind of unnecessary injury on the cold sea water during your Gold Coast surf lessons. Stretch your muscles and make your foray into the cold water. A good overall level of physical fitness ensures that you do not feel tired after your Gold Coast surf coaching or warm up sessions. You should wax your surfboard before diving into the water. The surf wax prevents you from slipping when you ride the board. It will also help you ride the waves effortlessly. Once you look at your legs, ask yourself whether you should have waxed them, and more importantly is the leg rope or leash attached to the board.
In case you are not aware of the leash, your Gold Coast surf instructor will help you to understand the importance of both. Once you know this, surfing will become a lot easier. Now, you can face the sea with your surfboard and surfing gear with confidence.

Two Basic Principles With Learning To Surf
When learning to surf, there are some basic principles that will help you. These principles are logical, not glamorous, but keep them in mind next time you hit the water.
Buoyancy
Think about a tiny little fishing boat, and how it bobs up and down in the water. It is not very buoyant as it is small. For a non-sea person, it can be difficult to stand up and walk on such a boat, it is too unstable. It is much better to sit on your seat and concentrate on your fishing rod. Compare this to a cruise liner. A cruise liner is very stable as it is huge and super buoyant. You can easily walk the deck, dance on the dance floor and enjoy fine dining in the restaurants.
Surfboards work the same. The more buoyant the surfboard is, the easier it will be to balance on. Go BIG
Speed
With many momentum sports (from riding a bike to skiing) speed helps your balance. Standing still on your craft will cause you to tip over, while momentum will help your stability. Surfing is the same. As you pick up speed you will be more stable – assuming you can master your fears. Look for waves that are slightly bigger than you are used to – bit not too big that will destroy your confidence or put you in danger.
Keep these in mind, now shut down your computer and hit the waves.
